 Chocolate-covered strawberry 🍓 bars

Are you a sweet tooth like me?

Do you want an easy and really tasty dessert?

If you do, then this recipe is for you !!!

 Ingredients

* 100 g jelly powder, strawberry flavor

* 400 g water, (200 g boiling hot)

* 24 tea biscuits

* 500g chocolate couverture

Let's get cooking !!!

1)Put the boiling water and the jelly powder into a bowl, and whisk them well until the powder is melted, making sure that it does not foam up.

2)Add the cold water, whisk well, and set the mixture aside for 10-15 minutes to cool.

3)Transfer the jelly to a mixer’s bowl, and beat it with the whisk attachment at high speed for 10 minutes.

4)Spread some plastic wrap in a 28x36 cm baking pan, leaving quite an overhang.

5)Arrange the tea biscuits in the pan, one next to the other, to cover the whole surface.

6)Pour the jelly mixture on top, and spread it with a silicone spatula.

7)Cover the pan with the overhanging plastic wrap, and transfer it to the freezer for 10-12 hours.

8)Line a baking pan with parchment paper, and set it aside.

9)Melt the chocolate into a bowl, using the bain-marie method or microwaving it at 800 Watts for 1-1.5 minutes, and set it aside to cool. You do not want it to be hot as the jelly will fall apart when you dip the bars in the chocolate.

10)Remove the pan from the freezer, unmold the dessert, transfer it to a cutting board, and cut it into 24 even bars. This process has to be done quickly as the jelly may start melting.

11)Use a fork to dip each bar into the chocolate and a spoon to cover it well.

12)Arrange the strawberry bars in the pan, and transfer them to the freezer for 30 minutes to chill.

13)Serve with melted white chocolate couverture.

14)Store the leftover strawberry bars in the freezer.
