What I would change in my culture!
Please write about something you would like to change in our culture!
It's about time to leave the donkeys alone...
In Greece during the past, people used donkeys as a means of transport. As time went by, cars replaced the donkeys in most parts of the country. However, there are still areas, such as Hydra and Santorini, where donkeys are still used in oder to carry tourists or bulky things. I feel really sad about that. We must protect them at all costs! Donkeys should live in farms protected, because they are living creatures that should not be exploited. Afterall, there are traditions that need to be changed once and for all.
(Myronas Rachiotis, A2)Greek Culture
Greece is a place that everyone would like to have the opportunity to live. Unfortunately, not everything is as it seems. Firstly, many Greeks seem to exhibit stereotypical traits, which saddens me, and it's something that needs to be changed immediately. In conclusion, as of 2023, it is prohibited for opinions that negatively impact public opinion and the psychology of many people to exist. Such opinions should be condemned by all of us!
Name: JOHN BEREKETLIS, A'2
If I could change something in Greek culture I would like us to pursue more environmental protection and sustainability. We would promote the adoption of sustainable practices and awareness for nature.
Zoe Panagiotopoulou,A2I wouldn't change anything in Greek culture. I like it just as it is.
GeorgiaGreek Culture
In greek culture I would like to change a few things. The first one is the laws. Some laws are too flexible. The second is the educational system. The educational system in Greece is not good at all! The public schools are not always very good so parents have to pay frontistiria, english lessons etc.
Katerina NikoloudiGREEK CULTURE
You see, Greece is a wonderfull place to be. It has fantastic scenery and the society really functions quite well. We DO have less competent politicians and the banking system is not all that well controled, dragging economy to a standstill. Yet, there are so many things people can do.Thus, I would not change all that much. I would just pray for more competent politicians and a better organized banking system.

Stavrianna Bouzegregou Greek Culture
If I could change anything in Greek culture it would be the bad habit of abandoning animals especially dogs and cats on the streets. This obviously includes not buying cute animals from a pet shop but helping and adopting them from animal welfare organizations. They are wonderful too.
[Thaleia Magkou A'2]Greek Culture
In our culture, i would like to change one thing and that is our education. I think that Greece doesn't give our educational system a lot attention. For example, in my opinion, it would be great if we spent more money in it, because most of the public schools are not well- organised at all!
Aspa Naoum, A2I would change 2 things: 1) A lot of cities/towns 🏙️ are really dirty. Whenever I walk I see trash on the roads. I suggest to more rubbish bins 🗑️and stop throwing rubbish outside the bins .2) Buildings 🏢 are covered with graffiti. Graffiti is supposed to be a form of art, but when you don't have permission to draw on other buildings that's not art. That is called vandalism!!!
Maria PissaTHEY DESERVE A PEACEFUL LIFE...
Greek culture is considered to be the cornerstone of the western civilization, phylosophy and way of life. If I had the chance to change something in our culture, I would change one think. I love Greek traditional events and delicious dishes. However, I don' t agree with a tradition that takes place at Easter. People during Easter use to eat lamb. I hate this procedure since people butcher animals, grill them and then eat them. So,it 's necessary to jump into action and save animals. Animals deserve to be safe and not be killed in the name of tradition.
THEY DESERVE A
PEACEFUL LIFE!!!!!THEY DESERVE A PEACEFUL LIFE...
IS WRITTEN BY JOHN PAVLOPOULOSSTOP SMOKING NOW
People of Greece should understand, while they still have the opportunity to do so, that smoking or vaping seriously damages their health and even the environment. So, stop smoking or vaping now, not tomorrow! It may be too late!
